Киркепортен - одно из маленьких чудес на побережье Северной Норвегии окло рыбацкой деревушки Скарсвог. Скарсвог - самое северное в мире рыбацкое поселение и насчитывает аж 60 обитателей. Основное их занятие - рыболовство и добыча крабов, кои в окрестных водах живут в изобилии.
Kirkeporten в переводе с норвежского, означает "Врата Храма". Это природное скальное образование в форме арки, с которой открывается чудесный вид на Северный мыс и Мефьорд. Еще в дохристианские времена Киркепортен была традиционным местом жертвоприношения саамов.
Сейчас же это весьма популярное у туристов место. Сюда удобно заехать по пути на Норд-Кап. Машину можно припарковать у кемпинга в точке с координатами 71.10843 25.81283. Далее начинается хорошо обозначенная тропа, которая проходит по склону холма к Мефьорду (поворачиваем налево по ходу движения от парковки). Прогулка не сложная, и вполне подходит для туристов с детьми. В середине пути вы уже сможете увидеть Северный мыс, и когда вы приблизитесь к морю, за вами внезапно появится арка (71 06.800 25 48.123). Тропа кольцевая и после осмотра арки можно продолжить маршрут и подняться на гребень холма откуда откроется хороший вид на деревню Скарсвог.
На всю прогулку с поиском тайника следует заложить час-полтора.

after three years of preparation and waiting, our big trip through Norway finally took place this year. Four weeks with our own car from home via Sweden, then through the whole of Norway up to the North Cape, with a detour to Finland, a week on the Lofoten Islands and then back home via Oslo. In the end it was 9,350 km plus ferries. We had a lot of fun, great encounters with people and animals, fantastic landscapes and great experiences. And thanks to some geocaches, we experienced more places that we would not have discovered otherwise. Many thanks to all the owners who showed us special places. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday.
Day 10 of 30: Olderfjord, Hammerfest, Honningsvåg, North Cape, Kirkeporten, Olderfjord
After visiting the North Cape we drove to Kirkeporten, too. It was a nice walk late this night. And Kirkeporten is so beautiful. After a while searching for the box I finally used the spoiler picture and managed to get the cache. It was fun to recognize that I was the second to find this one in all this years. The cache is well and in a good condition. I freed a Geokret from within the box. It has been stuck to this place for a long time.

P.S.:
Perhaps one might wonder why a German would log a Russian cache in this of all years. 1) The opportunities on this trip were ideal. 2) I have wanted to find a cache on this platform for years. 3) I hope that the spirit of our common hobby will be stronger than all the conflicts in the world. I wish all people reading this a good and beautiful life.
